For this semester I decided to take a month and do a thirty-one day devotional. Devoted by Marjorie Jackson was written to teach girls how to find themselves through Jesus in an especially complex world. I loved this book because it helped me to remember the important things in life while also learning that it is great to just be who you are. I would read each section in the morning before I started my day and it really helped to center me and showed me the best ways to live in the light of Jesus. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially to young girls today that are having trouble realizing their place in society or having trouble recognizing that you are perfect just the way you are. This book truly helped to boost my self-confidence and gave me a new sense of purpose.
