Tea time

Travis, I second the comment good thing you got married! ;)

LOL! Sounds like a plan.

I'm also a huge fan of cold peach teas. I've been drinking the fake stuff from crystal light that you can mix in a bottle of water. It is very yummy, but I'm pretty sure it isn't very good for you.

Oh, I agree on this. I keep having people trying to convince me to drink David's Tea and they do this, it's awful!

with some Arrowroot cookies too. Works great! :)

Not a problem! I love all this tea talk :) I've been also wanting to get "fun" mugs. I think with starting to drink tea, that means cute fun mugs to drink out of, right? :-)

I am somewhat of a tea addict. The fact there there is now 2 awesome tea boutique in Qc do not help. Nor the fact that I found an infuser that allows me do drink tea at the office. (something like http://camellia-sinensis.com/en/teawa..., but without the basket)) I cannot say anything about brands as I do not do bags or prepackaged tea.
I have here a creamy oolong that you might quite like. It has become an addiction (and I passed it to the other 2 drinkers at my office). It has a rich buttery taste.
The only flavor tea I drink is Chai really. I love it.
I think the best way is to explore. Buy small quantity and try a few types. There is some many variety available that you are bound to find something you like.

It is a nice fact sheet about type of teas
They also seem to have a Facebook page in English...

Where can I get this tea? It sounds delicious.

Holy hell! Why didn't you link this for me days ago lol! Perfect Christmas gift for my housemate, I'm stocking up now for next year. Thanks!!

NO! I went to find it to tell you what was in it and I'm out! It's Black tea with almond pieces, orange peel, apple pieces, cornflowers, cinnamon & cloves.

That sounds like a tea I would really like. I shall investigate.

I like these flavors in tea, BUT who wants potpourri in their tea!! :-P

Second Cup? It's a franchise like Starbucks and Tim Hortons. I didn't make it to their store yesterday. When I headed out, my son was texting, "Have you left yet?" I figured I'd better not take the time to stop. I'll be in that area tomorrow so will stop then.

I will probably start off my tea drinking in the new year with the stuff I've had in my cupboards forever...including some really yummy stuff called sweet & spicy. Smells spicy, but tastes like warm sweet tea I'd say! It's pretty good! I was told to try it cold, tried it, but did NOT like that.
I bought my last coffee creamer yesterday...oh boy, it's getting real now! haha

No, sorry, I meant the Tea Guys. After you mentioned buying samples from them I had to check them out. They have some really interesting tea blends over there so I was wondering if you have ordered from them before.

I'm going to have a Twinings Darjeelin now while reading Christmas Carol. I'm planning to have a relaxed morning, recharge my energies for a 12 days Christmas break starting this afternoon.

thanks"
Yes, it makes sense to me now too. I was a little confused.

Glad you enjoyed your peppermint tea, Stephanie!

I've had this one before from them and it was tasty:

I hate teas that are flavoured, so I would watch for those. By that I mean, I like it if it has the thing in it. Orange = bits of orange peel. Rose = actual rose petals. Cinnamon = bits of stick. I can't stand fake flavours and I will throw out packets over it. They taste fake and chemically.
I'm growing a lemon verbena plant at the moment. Should be big enough soon to be able to pick the leaves off it and make a tea.
Tea's also good for medicinal things. Peppermint is good for googely stomachs. Camomile is good for stomach aches (although doesn't cure appendicitis we just found out :P)
