Liam Cadoc (liamcadoc) For my first historical fiction novel I've decided to do so using as unique a pen name as I could create. This is the first time I've done so and now that I'm almost ready to upload my new manuscript to my distributor, I need to learn just how far do you take using the pen name.

Do I use it on the ABOUT THE AUTHOR page? And what about the Copyright line ... mine or the pen name/ or both?

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) No real reason not to use the pen name on the About the Author page. But I believe that people who don't want to use their real name on a copyright page need to create a fictitious business entity with their pen name. Can anyone confirm this?

Liam Cadoc (liamcadoc) Thanks Abigail. After posting my question, I googled my question and a writers source site explains that if a writer chooses to use a pen name then they should assume that identity for all communication, including the ABOUT THE AUTHOR page, the copyright info, blogs, etc ... mainly to avoid confusing readers, etc with the writer's real name. Makes perfect sense.
