I'm Probably the Odd One Out Here

Hi, Heylo. I am Trey. I actually really do not enjoy reading, like it's a quite dreadful experience for me. Well, why am I here? You probably ask. Mainly because the majority of my friends, who are very avid readers, keep pressuring me to get into reading. So, I figured maybe some kind of a community could help me salvage some interest. I am not a reader whatsoever; but, I love listening to other people talk about books and reading--another reason I'm here. Anyways, I'd love to know other's thoughts on books, and maybe even have some of those thoughts challenge my notions about reading. If you wish to change my mind about reading, please do!

I can't talk about the type of books that I enjoy, because honestly there aren't really any. At least nothing that afterwards causes a cathartic feeling like other mediums; though, I doubt I will spend 153+ hours on one book, but I digress.

I can probably talk about some of my interest that may relate to books, if that helps. I absolutely adore mythology, no matter what it is: Greco-Roman, Norse, Egyptian, you name it. At least when it comes to Video Games, I love the Fantasy genre, especially High Fantasy. I love history, especially much of Ancient/Classical history and early 20th century.

Hopefully I didn't go too much into detail. Nice to meet you all. I do look forward to what there is to be had in this group!
