Otherwise you could end up with someone with *no* experience in your kind of writing. Editors specialize the same as doctors. You don't take a western to one who edits mainstream non-fiction any more than you'd go seek migraine help from a foot doctor.
Is this your first draft of the work? If so, then it is too soon to hire an editor. You're much better off having a beta reader to offer feedback. There are many here who will beta your work if you beta theirs. For free! :)
Some writers think that editors offer feedback, and while they can, it's a waste of the writer's money. The writer then has to do a rewrite, then hire an editor all over again. That gets expensive!
It's best to get feedback first, rewrite (no one escapes!), then more feedback, another rewrite, and maybe by then the work will be ready for the final polish of an editor.
You may want to read this on the topic. I've been in pro publishing as a writer and editor for 29 years and know a few things.

If you can't find feedback betas here, then please try the forums of Absolute Write.
It is the best writer's board on the net and free to join. Professional writers and editors volunteer their time to help others by paying it forward.
They have a Beta Readers, Mentors, and Writing Buddies forum where you may find someone to help. Read the "sticky" notes.
They also have a feedback forum. You're allowed to put excerpts up after you make 50 posts. Members are expected to participate in the community in a positive way, and that won't take long. You can build up posts by giving feedback. Few things sharpen a writer's craft faster than giving feedback in a workshop!
Have I mentioned it's all FREE? https://absolutewrite.com/forums/foru...
Go forth, have fun! :)

Are you still looking for an editor? I'd be happy to discuss your editing needs with you.
If you're looking for line editing, copy editing, and/or proofreading, I provide a free 2,000-word sample edit, which determines the editing rate ($1.50 to $5.50 per page; 250 words = 1 page) and gives the client an example of my work. Payment arrangements and a new client discount are available.
If you'd like to request a free sample edit and/or have questions about me and my editing services, please visit my website at xterraweb.com, contact me via email at editor@xterraweb.com, or message me on XterraWeb's Facebook Page or Goodreads.
Thank you.
Kelly

I can offer you a great deal but I'd need to know your genre and how many drafts you've been through etc.
If you'd like to discuss your novella, please feel free to contact me at whitediamondedits (at) gmail.com.
Best wishes
Jacqui

As long as your novella is not NSFW, I can absolutely edit it for you. I will do a full structural/copy edit for you for a low price. If you're interested, please check out my page here: https://www.fiverr.com/share/1qlGx6
or email me at writer.e.c.davis@gmail.com
Thanks!
