Duplicate Author Profiles

Betsy Rossen Elliot has a duplicate profile as Betsy Rossen Elliott. Can the duplicate be deleted? The spelling of "Elliott" is incorrect. I'm a new librarian and I couldn't find my answer in the librarian manual. Is this something I can do or no? Thanks!

I believe the books in her duplicate account are also in her correct account. There are two books in question.

The easiest way is to merge an incorrect profile into the correct profile. completely empty profiles (no books, no fans, no quotes) are at some point automatically deleted.
I couldn't find that profile, but I found an other incorrect profile of this author and merged it.

Victoria Wessex has a duplicate author profile as Victoria Kasari.

Victoria Kasari is a pen name she uses to write a specific genre of book that she writes.

6, these are not really duplicate, pen names are listed separately in the database
