I am trying to find a book which I read in 2018/19. (view spoiler)[ It is something like a Persian or Arabic retelling of a famous tale where a boy has to solve riddles with the help of a girl and an older men. The missions which were in form of riddles were set by the princess who the boy wanted to marry although he was in love with the girl he went on a journey with,
At the end the girl died to save the boy who solved the riddle and got the chance to marry the princes, although everything was a trap and the princess never wanted to get married.
This is basically the plot and it was written very beautifully with poems and such.
I hope it is enough to find the title and the author.
