Question: Would Jane Eyre - The Graphic Novel work for this category? It's definitely not a "retelling" as it still follows the same storyline, but it is in a different form? Thoughts/opinions?

I skimmed the posts here and didn't see this series mentioned, so here it is! The Canongate Myths Series is a fantastic collection of various myths retold by some really wonderful authors. My favorites (so far!) are Girl Meets Boy (retelling of Ovid's Metamorphosis) and Weight: The Myth of Atlas and Heracles (retelling of Atlas and Heracles.)

I read Cinder by Marissa Meyer, which I've been dying to read. So glad I did! It was so much fun!

I love the Canongate Myths series! I read Ragnarok this year and it was amazing.

For this challenge I read Cinder which is a re-imagining of Cinderella. I thought it was very well done and it reminded me of the Drew Barrymore movie Ever After except in the future.

I finished The Madman’s Daughter last night, which is a retelling of the Island of Doctor Moreau. It was a great book!
