Melissa Stebbins (bougem) | 24 comments Question: Would Jane Eyre - The Graphic Novel work for this category? It's definitely not a "retelling" as it still follows the same storyline, but it is in a different form? Thoughts/opinions?

Hmmmm. Can you count it in any other category for the challenge? If you can, use it in another space. If not, you can use it here.

andrea (andreareading) | 12 comments I skimmed the posts here and didn't see this series mentioned, so here it is! The Canongate Myths Series is a fantastic collection of various myths retold by some really wonderful authors. My favorites (so far!) are Girl Meets Boy (retelling of Ovid's Metamorphosis) and Weight: The Myth of Atlas and Heracles (retelling of Atlas and Heracles.)

I love the Canongate Myths series! I read Ragnarok this year and it was amazing.

Wellington (stenella) | 104 comments For this challenge I read Cinder which is a re-imagining of Cinderella. I thought it was very well done and it reminded me of the Drew Barrymore movie Ever After except in the future.
