J | 70 comments I finished. I really enjoyed the imagery, but I found the plot itself flimsy. The author said the first draft rejected by publishers was nothing but imagery, and the plot was added in at a later date, and it really shows.
That said, I haven't had a book paint a world was vibrant as this in a while, I just wish the events happening in it were as interesting as the setting.
