Lucy wrote: "Might join in, I think I have this penciled in somewhere on my yearly challenge."Awesome.
Lucy wrote: "Might join in, I think I have this penciled in somewhere on my yearly challenge."It is set in Spain (takes place in a Museum) , is in a 5 book series, and genre is Thriller, if you have any of those tasks. I think there may be one for one word titles, too, maybe, but I do not have it. ;o)
I haven't read Dan Brown's book this year so it's a great pleasure to join you, if I can get the translation by April

Looks like I have it as a possibility for Set in Spain and Theme is religion (I assumed it would have religious themes, anyway). I will most likely use it for the Spain task.

Hope you can!
I might join you guys . I haven't read Inferno b7t judging by the first two I don't think that would be a huge problem. What do you reckon?
I was going to say yes, but I feel like with Inferno you might actually get spoiled reading Origins. I guess the whole book could go with out mention. But that would seem weird if it did.
Margo wrote: "I might join you guys . I haven't read Inferno b7t judging by the first two I don't think that would be a huge problem. What do you reckon?"I like to read things in order, that being said, each of these books really could be standalone. I haven’t read Origin yet but judging by the first four, you could pull it off and not be lost.
They do make very small comments on the other books but not that noticeable that it ruins reading them later on.
Have a great day Dom 😊I will check if we have Inferno on audio (i can't do print), if we do I will read that first cos I also have a thing about reading series in order. Pete might have that in print. I don't care enough about the integrity of this series that I would buy it for myself on audio so I may still join you.
It's been a while since I did a buddy read with Jannene!
Margo wrote: "It's been a while since I did a buddy read with Jannene!”It has been a while, hasn’t it? I may not be as funny unless there is some romance in the book. We all know how much I love that part.
Because of your suggestion, Dom and I do our Zoom meetings to discuss the book. Fortunately or unfortunately, we never get off before two hours have passed! We could do that here and it would be quite fun to see everyone from various countries!!!
That might be fun! Glad it's working out for yiu and Dom anyway. As I remember you love bad sex scenes. Don't recall Brown doing any of those but we could snark about his mickey mouse watch 😅

We're going to pass the 2 hour mark for sure!
ROFL @ the Micky Mouse watch! I think Langdon did have a want-to-be love interest in one of the books, but she would not give up her career and move and neither would he. He lost his watch in one of the books too - anyone remember? He got it back later, I think.
Lucy wrote: "I think he loses it/gets it back in Inferno.Wait, is that a spoiler? LOL"
For me, it's encouragment to read that book. I hated that bloody watch 😆
Dominique wrote: "He has a better love affair with his Mickey Mouse watch then with the ladies."AMEN!! Inferno proved that as it was a bit over the top.

Agreed!
I am glad its April. I own the book. I can not find it. My husband thinks I left it at our cottage. We will be getting it ready for the season next weekend. This gives me time to replace it if I have lost it.
I do to. My husband won't even let me have books brought in from the library. He worries a little too much at times. I have been doing several other buddy reads. I have found I real enjoy them. People see things I missed. I hope I do the same for them
I have my audiobook loaned from the library. I need to finish another loan that's due back soon, but I should have it done today, so I will start Origins most likely tomorrow, if not tonight.
ohhhh I am in I am going to get a late start. I forgot and just started something. I should be with you I a day.
