Got an email notification that the "Author" had made some notes...

I thought at first that Jane Austen was back from the dead, and was very interested, but alas, no... it was some other person associated with the "Jane Austen Society."

Honestly, I think that is crappy marketing. Is this a common thing, to get author alerts when it is definitely not the author? If it were only actual authors of the books I like, then I might stick it out, but for now, I've unsubscribed from the emails.
