Fairy tale? Y/A I think. I think that it was a fairy tale book, possibly for kids but a bit bookie!!

One thing that I remember is that there was one story with a guy with many many eyes, possibly all over his body, and meets a nice girl. And then another where a girl has to agree to have each hair plucked out?? Maybe by a waterfall I think!!

Possibly Terry Jones' Fantastic Stories? There's a story called Eyes-All-Over about a man who has eyes all over his body, and a girl who falls in love with him. I don't think there's a story about plucking out hair in that collection, though.
