The book I'm looking for is a book I read on an app called wattpad. It's a highschool romance, where the the male lead character is blind and while he's blind he meets a girl and they hang out the whole summer. At the end of the summer he goes away to go get surgery that can give him back his eyesight. During the time he's gone she writes in a journal everyday until the day he's suppose to come back and he doesn't. After that she kind of loses hope. When the new school year starts her bestfriend's cousin moved to that school(the blind boy) who everyone ends up liking and she notices him but he acts as if he doesn't know her. He acts like this because when he walked into the place she worked he saw some dude try to kiss her (which she pushed him away). He thought she forgot about him and moved on in a way. When she is pushed into a lake further into the book he jumps in to save her and after that they kind of explain everything to each other but there is still some miscommunication. The boy that tried to kiss her took her journal and found out he was the one she was writing to and also connected the dots when he say the necklace she wore(which was a guitar pick with braille writing on the back) which during the lake trip he was playing a guitar.

No, it wasn't that one. I seem to remember it was a small boy (or girl) who got separated from his father or mother while shopping. I came across I'll Bet You Thought I Was Lost and thought it seemed like a good candidate, but now of course I can't find the thread, lol.
