SOLVED. Book about little girl that would wear a mermaid tail. [s]

This book was a children's book that I used to read probably somewhere around 2009-2011. It was about a little girl that wanted to be a mermaid so her mom made her a mermaid tail and she would wear it all the time. She would wear it to bed and would be like transported to the ocean as a real mermaid and then in the morning she'd be right back in bed with the fake tail. These are really the only details that I'm positive happened. It was my favorite book to read as a child and neither my mom or google can figure out what it was called! thank you in advance for your help!
