Jackie, I agree about the timing of reading it along with what's going on right now. I definitely felt like that added to the drama & scariness of it as well.

I would love to join but I've already read it a couple months in fact before the movie release haha. I actually enjoyed both book and movie. Movie was too over hyped BUT I did like it for a movie screenplay and it actually did well. And of course the book was better, but still a toss up for me. I'm just waiting for the sequel to come out. Those who didn't like the movie as much I tell them stick with the book. There's things in there that made it more intense and made you want to keep going.

For me and the movie though I felt like John Malkovich and Sandra Bullock both saved it for me since I love them both and both are phenomenal actors!
