ETA That sounds like I want authors to work for free, but I mean that I would like them to be in the Kindle Unlimited plan. I think authors are paid a certain amount when we read one of their books in KU IIRC. And I do pay for that LOL

I might continue reading the series (if the books are reasonably priced again) just because I want to know how Jared fits into the picture.
