Book Synopsis:

Hey Nichole! Glad to have you! I don't know what I'll do after we finish this one. Book #8 isn't due out until AUGUST! I may have to read The Edge Series or something to ease the withdrawal.

Thanks! I actually started this a little while ago. I love it too. You should feel the waiting time with The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning :)

I'm just read the first book in the Fever series last month. I've been out of the reading loop raising kids so now I get to play catch-up. In a way that's nice. No long waits between books. I hear it's like three years for Outlander. My TBR schedule will be full for the near future!

I'm starting Magic Breaks now. I've really grown attached to these characters and they're so vivid in my memory. It's like that with the Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series, too. When a new book is released, they are an automatic buy.

I have an MRI scheduled this afternoon so I'll be offline for a couple of hours. Too bad I can't read during the scan. All that time with nothing to do.... *sigh* It's pretty bad when you start measuring time in chapters.

Someone we know or a new person? Or was it made to look that way but something else? The shit is about to hit the fan! At least the beginnings :) Ooooh, this is going to be a good one! I have some baking to do tonight so hopefully I can listen to some while doing that. And wrapping, yeah I need to wrap some presents... and more shopping, ugh!

I loved it when she stepped in on the bridge and dealt with the insubordinate wolf. I think Jennifer's days as alpha are limited. This book is amazing! I can't turn the pages fast enough! Real life is cutting into my reading time, too, but I expected it would the closer we got to Christmas. I have shopping to finish, too. My son and DIL are bringing the grandbaby over tomorrow and I can't wait! They live a couple hours away and it's hard for me to travel, so I don't see him as often as I'd like.

This book is intense, so the comic relief really helped the balance. You're in for an exciting ride, Nichole! Every other page was an "OMG- I-can't-believe-that-happened" moment! I need a bit to organize my thoughts and then I'll post a few tagged spoilers.

Kristin - Books 5, 6 & 7 are the best of the series. Book 5 was my favorite, but now I can't pick between the three. They're all fantastic for different reasons.

I'm going to read the short stories while I wait for the next book. Magic Dreams, Jim and Dali's book, was really good, too. The author is on a roll!

Oh man! So much going on. (view spoiler)[ I'm about halfway through now. Wow, a lot has happened. I'm so glad that Desandra, Derek and Ascanio survived. At least at this point. Hugh has just wiped out the Knights. I'm really curious about Nick and his relationship with Greg.

Holy Crap! Ch. 18
(view spoiler)[ So I've just listened to the part where Kate was trapped and saved. They are running and have met up with Hugh on the bridge. Okay, so Curran and Hugh are fighting and she's making it seem like Hugh is going to win. Then Kate "imagines" what will happen next and Curran gets his head cut off...I was at work during this time and screamed "Noooooo!!!!" and then realized that it was just what she was afraid was going to happen. Luckily, I was alone in the office at that moment :D It scared the crap out of me!

So now I'm able to continue and Hugh was just swarmed on the bridge by vampires. You know that's not the end of him. Somehow he will have survived.... grrrr!! (hide spoiler)]

This is one of my favorite series! I'm surprised by how things ended and I'm really really looking forward to the next one to see where things go from here!! I was so not expecting that.
