Albany looked at Eden when she came in, scoffing at her words. She took the dress Vivian gave her and left the room without another word to return to her own.

Vivian watched as she went, looking over at Eden and sighing."Don't worry. You'll get use to her" She turned to close her closet door, going over to her bed after that and taking a seat as well.

[Fallen]

Eden shrugged at Vivian walking off. “I figured. She doesn’t seem to like anyone.” She commented before glancing at Vivian. “What’s her really anyways? Is it just a bit of a temper?” She questioned curiously, trying to understand. It seemed easier to start with Albany rather than immediately asking Vivian

"Albany? Um, yeah I think so. That's what I overheard most of the doctors saying anyways, she has a really bad temper and is known to lashing out at people. That's what got her here in the first place," Vivian replied, scooting back a little bit in the bed so she was leaning against the wall."She doesn't really like to talk about it I think so that's why she's so short with people. That's my guess anyways."

Eden nodded. “Fair enough.” She agreed quietly. “It’s kinda interesting that we’re all here though we seem to have so many different illnesses. Usually mixing stuff up doesn’t work that well. But I guess we must all not be that bad.” She reasoned out loud. “Do you find it weird or just me?”

Vivian listened to her words, thinking about them for a second."I don't think we're that different. A lot of us are here because of tantrums and lashing out, I think anyways. So no, I guess I don't find it that weird."

Eden shrugged. “That makes sense I guess. Is that what got you in here?” She asked, messing with the edge of her blanket. She hoped she wasn’t being too forward with her questions.

Vivian listened to the question and her gaze immediately dropped. It wasn't something that she liked to talk about, the reason that she was in here. And she had never really told anyone about it before, except a little bit to Jacoby. She did nod her head after a second though.

Eden nodded. “Makes sense. I started screaming at things that weren’t there in the middle of the school cafeteria. I think that counts as a meltdown.” She admitted, sharing a bit of her story with Vivian.

Vivian listened to her and raised her eyebrows a bit, though she nodded."Yeah I think I would count that as a meltdown." She smiled a bit as she said this, not wanting Eden to think she thought she was odd. Everyone here had a story after all, they were all there for some reason or another.

Eden smiled a bit and nodded. “Yeah. I felt like I was being pretty logical at the time but that wasn’t the case.” She said softly. “I’m still not comfortable here but it seems okay considering everything.”

"Yeah, it's really not that bad here. I mean, I know you don't wanna be here, I don't think any of us do. But we just need to do what we gotta do to get better," Vivian said with a smile.

Eden nodded slightly. “Do you really feel like you’ve gotten better since you got here?” She asked curiously. She shifted and pulled her soft blanket over at her. It was a comfort item for her to have to hold onto. She looked over at Vivian.

Vivian frowned at the question, thinking about that for a moment. Did she? Nothing weird had happened since she'd been here, at least not much. But did she feel different than before?"I don't feel any different....but nothing bad has happened..." Mostly anyways.

Eden glanced at her. “But you’ve been here a while right? Shouldn’t there be some progress by now?” She questioned faintly. She hoped she wasn’t being too forward with her questions.

Vivian shrugged her shoulders at Eden's words, rubbing her hands together."Why are you asking me this? Is something going on with you? I mean, have you gotten worse?"

“Maybe a little worse.” She admitted. “But that’s probably cause they’re playing with my medicine a bit to see what works best. I’ll talk to them, I’m just trying to understand a bit more about how everyone else is doing.” She explained quietly.

Vivian listened to her as she spoke and nodded, frowning a little bit."I remember when they were trying to find a medicine that worked best for me. Kinda sucks when they change it all the time." Honestly though, none of the medicine had ever really "worked" for her exactly.

Eden nodded, glancing at her. "It definitely sucks. Does the medicine help or not really?" She asked curiously, tilting her head. She sat up slightly and ran her hands through her hair.

Again, Vivian looked down when she asked that, hesitant to answer. She had told the doctors that the last medicine that it was working so she wouldn't have to go through trying anymore out, since the side effects of some of them were pretty awful.

Eden frowned slightly. "Sorry. I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable or anything, I was just kinda curious. I'm trying to understand what I can about everyone here." She explained after a minute.

"No it's okay, I just don't really like to talk about it is all. I guess...the medicine works as well as it will for me personally," Vivian said with a shrug of her shoulders, offering a small smile. She wasn't sure if she trusted Eden not to tell the doctors that her medicine wasn't working at all.

Eden nodded. "That's fair." She agreed. "I don't think mine is working much at all." She admitted quietly, glancing at her. She offered a faint smile in return. She wouldn't tell the doctors or anyone except maybe Everett about these talks, understanding that it was best kept secret.

Vivian nodded, not liking that she was basically lying to her, but she didn't know her that well yet. Sure she didn't think that she would tattle, but she wanted to be careful."You said they're gonna switch up the medicine though right?"

“Hopefully yeah. I dunno. The doctors kinda freak me out.” She mumbled. Eden looked around their room. “I’m just hoping stuff is gonna get better.” She shrugged slightly. She looked back tonVivian.

"Understandable. Not a lot of them are exactly balls of sunshine and fun," Vivian said with a small laugh. She was quiet for a little bit before she looked over at him."So did you talk with Everett or something? I just...I noticed you go down to the basement when he was doing the laundry and you didn't come up for a while."

Eden nodded. “More like clouds of sourness.” She agreed. “And yeah. He suggested a book to me earlier. I read it cause it was pretty short. So I went to talk to him about it.” She explained.

Vivian smiled a little from her words, not going to disagree with that. The nurses were, for the most part, all kinda mean and not really the kindest."Really? That's kinda a surprise, Everett really doesn't do anything or talk to anyone besides Jacoby."

(( I don't have anything too specific, just maybe them talking? Cause Albany doesn't realize that she likes Stella yet, she thinks she likes Jacoby. Maybe Stella knows she likes Albany tho? And they could just kinda be talking a little? (: ))

Eden nodded. “I know. It caught me off guard too but I still figured since he reached out that I should try and talk to him as well..” she explained softly. “I’m guessing him and Jacoby have both been here for a while?”

"Makes sense," Vivian replied, and then nodded at her question,"Yeah, they've been here the longest. I think Jacoby got here first and then Everett came a little bit after he did. Which I guess makes sense why they're close."

Albany had gone back to her room after a quick stop into the library to grab a book. She hadn't been a big reader before she came here, but there wasn't really much to do around here so she figured this was the best way to pass the time. Entering her room, Stella was also in there chilling out. She didn't really often talk to her roommate though so she just went to her closet and hung up the dress Vivian had lent her without saying anything to Stella.

Eden nodded. “Yeah. That makes sense. Plus Jacoby seems to be really sweet and kind..” she commented with a gentle smile. She looked over at Vivian. “It’s good that Everett has someone though.”

Stella glanced up when Albany came in and hung up the dress. “That’s pretty. You got a hot date later?” She asked with a gentle smile. It wasn’t teasing. She was just curious why albany would want to get all dressed up.

Vivian's smile got a little bit bigger and sweeter when Eden mentioned how Jacoby was, a little blush going on her cheeks."Yeah, he's really sweet. He's nice taking care of Everett like he does, since Everett won't let anyone get close to him."

Albany frowned at Stellas words."I feel like you and that Eden girl would make great friends cause you both made the same stupid joke. I'm sick of seeing my own clothes on me and Vivian has cute dresses."

Eden raised an eyebrow at Vivian’s blush. “Oh. You like him, don’t you?” She asked curiously. She smiled a bit at her and tilted her head.

Stella rolled her eyes. “Well. I wasn’t trying to make a joke.. it looks like it’ll look really good on you with you all dressed up and everything.” She said softly. “But You’re welcome to anything in my closet too..” she offered as a peace offering.

That just got Vivian to blush even deeper."N-no I don't." She was, also, a terrible liar. At least when it came to stuff about how she felt about something/someone.

Albany listened to her words, though didn't say much on them as she moved over to her desk and took a seat."Thanks, but your style isn't exactly my style. Then again, some of Vivian's stuff isn't mind either. She dresses like a damn child on Easter Sunday sometimes."

Eden shrugged. “I won’t tell. I think you’d be kinda cute together honestly though.” She told her softly. “I dunno what the rules about dating here are though..” she admitted.

“True. But I’m sure between all our closets, you’d be able to put something together that is your style.” Stella suggested softly. She smiled a bit at her.

Vivian shifted uncomfortable on the bed as Eden continued to talk about it, trying her darndest to get her blush to go away."I don't think we're allowed to...But even if we were, Jacoby doesn't like me."

Albany shrugged a bit and reached over for her hairbrush, brushing out her hair. As she was doing this, she realized that her hair was changing colors again near the bottom. The bottom part of her hair had been a very light purple, but as she was brushing it she noticed it was tinting a dark blue instead. She had never dyed her hair before though....Even like this. Not that she ever told anyone this, but years ago she had just woken up one day with her hair colored differently.

Eden shrugged. “He doesn’t seem to not like you though.” She commented. “But what do I know?” She shrugged. “Maybe someday once you’re out of here though.”

Stella watched, tilting her head at Albany’s hair color changed. “Whoa.. that’s cool. How come you never mentioned that it did that??” She asked curiously.

"I don't think he does," Vivian said with a quick shake of her head, standing up from her bed. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly."I'm gonna go get a quick snack. You want something?"

Albany froze up a bit when Stella asked about her hair, clearing her throat."What're you talk about?" She was gonna try to deny it, even though it was pretty clear that her hair had in fact begun to change colors with no dying done at all. They didn't have access to hair dye in here.

Eden shrugged. “You never know.” She commented. She nodded at the offer for a snack and sat up. “Snacks sound good..” she agreed. She stood and stretched her arms over her head.

Stella shrugged. “Your hair. The ends were like a nice lilac. They just seemed to have gotten darker and more blue though. How did you not notice?” She replied.

Albany bit her lip at Stella's words and sighed, turning in her chair so she could look at her."Alright alright. Yeah, it changes color....Don't tell anyone though!"

Stella nodded. “I won’t tell. But that’s super cool. I’d love if I could get my hair to do that.” She said softly. “Do you think actual dye would hide that though? I don’t want you getting in trouble since the colors different suddenly?” She asked randomly.

Vivian nodded and went downstairs to go and get them some thing. Typically they weren't allowed to have snacks up in the room, bur Ms. Orland was the nurse on duty tonight and she didn't often mind. She went to the kitchen and opened up the cabinet to look for what she was in the mood for.

Albany shook her head at her words, sighing."No I can't dye it. Believe me, I tried. It won't take it." She paused for a second before furrowing her eyebrows."Wait why the hell are you acting so normal about this? That is weird! People hair doesn't just change colors randomly."

[Fallen]

Eden followed her down to the kitchen, letting her look for snacks. Nothing in particular sounded good to her but she hoped Vivian would have good ideas.

Jacoby had the same idea as the girls, coming downstairs to get a snack.

Stella shrugged. “I mean, it’s freaky, but I’m also jealous.” She ran a hand through her pale lavender hair. “I’d love to change colors so easily. But its definitely kinda weird. Has it always done that?”

Vivian looked through the cabinet, trying to find something that she thought would be yummy. Nothing kinda jumped out at her though and she turned around, thinking some fruit might be yummy."Do you like apples?" She looked at Eden as she said this and right when she reached her hand out to grab an apple from the bowl on the counter, one of them flew right out towards her and hit her hand. She jumped when she noticed it had happened, looking down at the apple in shock.

Albany blinked as she listened to her words. She would've figure Stella would freak out or something, but she wasn't...huh. She shrugged and continued to brush her hair, not like she ever really got tangles anyways."I just woke up one day and my hair was green and white. It's changed colors throughout the years, just randomly. The top part has been pink for about a year now, but the bottom part changes every few months."

[Fallen]

Eden nodded at the offer. “Yeah. Apples are good.” She replied, stepping towards the counter to grab them when one suddenly flew to Vivian. She glanced between the bowl and Vivian but didn’t say anything since Jacoby was right there. She grabbed an apple for herself.

Jacoby was looking through the fridge but glanced over when the girls spoke. He saw the apple fly across the kitchen to Vivian and raised an eyebrow, not having seen Eden throw it or anything.


Stella nodded. “That’s interesting. Any other weirdness happen to you besides that?” She asked curiously. “And I’m guessing that means you’ve got no control over how it changes either, huh?”

Vivian had been in such shock that she didn't actually manage to catch the apple, it just hit her on the hand and fell down. Blinking at it, she looked at Eden to see if she noticed it had happened and she saw her looking back and forth, but she had said nothing. Very slowly she knelt down and grabbed the thing, freaked out. It had happened to her before, able to move things, but it scared her every time it happened. She hadn't even realized that Jacoby was there.

"No, no other weirdness," Albany said, which was true. Well, for the most part. Nothing weird happened to her on a day to day anyways."And no, if I had control over my damn hair trust me, I would tell it to stop."

Jacoby quickly looked back to the fridge, unsure about acknowledging what he’d just seen. It certainly strengthened Everett’s theory that none of them were Normal. He grabbed a snack before glancing to the girls as he shut the fridge.

Stella nodded. “That’s fair. I wonder why it does that.” She shrugged over at her. “I’m sorry for asking so many questions, I’m just curious.”

Vivian grabbed the apple and slowly rose back up, trying to stop the pounding in her heart. When she heard the fridge she looked back and saw Jacoby standing there. The look on his face just told her that he had seen what happened and she started internally freaking out even more. And because of that, her powers were let loose even more and two of them cabinets suddenly swung open loudly, causing Vivian to jump.

"I have no idea," Albany said, running her fingers through the bottom part of her hair. How was she gonna explain the random blue to the nurses and doctors, if they happened to notice. Which they probably would, nosy bastards. Sighing, she set her hairbrush down, shrugging at Stella's last words."Whatever. Just don't tell anyone what I just told you."

Eden jumped slightly and took a step back, freaked out by the noise and everything that Vivian was causing.

Jacoby set his snack down. “Vivian. Take a breath. It’s okay.” He assured, walking over to her. He held his hands out at his side. “It’s okay. I won’t say anything.” He promised.

Stella nodded. “I won’t tell. And if you’d like, I could probably help you put your hair up in some way where they won’t see the ends and notice your hair is different.” She offered, trying to be nice.

Vivian looked to the cabinets as soon as they opened, knowing that she had done that even though she hadn't meant to. At Jacoby's words and the look that was on Eden's face, she couldn't take it. She started crying and quickly ran out of the kitchen and up the steps.

Everett, who had heard the commotion, peaked his head in right as Vivian ran past him. He watched as she went, then looked into the kitchen."What happened?"

Albany listened to her words and frowned when Stella offered to do her hair."I might rather take my chances of them seeing it." She didn't like it when people messed with her hair, at all. It wasn't like a "oh my God don't mess up my hair" thing, but whenever someone would touch or mess with her hair after it had suddenly changed color, it would just act...weird. Like she's been told by multiple people that her hair was warm? She wasn't sure, she couldn't feel it, but supposed everyone else could for whatever reason.
