Shane waited for Everett to be gone before looking to Payton. “any idea what that all was about?” He asked softly. He laid back in his bed and pulled the blankets closer. “I don’t think he’d bring it up if he wasn’t serious but still...”

"I have no idea. Dudes got more screws loose then I have him credit for," Payton grumbled. He wasn't normally one to get mad, but that just pissed him the heck off, having that guy come in here and talk to them like he knew everything...

Shane shrugged slightly. “Agreed. But it’s very strange that he would come to us about something like that. He mentioned Vivian and Eden though. Maybe we could talk to them? See if they think he’s nuts too?” He suggested.

Payton looked at him, going and sitting down next to him on his bed."You believe him?" He didn't sound mad or anything, more confused really.

“I’m not sure. But I know that what got me here was definitely weird..” Shane admitted quietly. “Does it sound totally bonkers to you?” He asked.

"Well yeah I mean, of course that was weird. But mine was too," Payton said with a shrug of his shoulders, not liking to think about it all that much. And he knew why Shane was here, the guy had confided in him.

Shane shrugged. “I trust the meds. It means I haven’t ended up covered in blood again. But I still don’t know or understand what happened then.” He mumbled softly. “Maybe they have an answer to that though?”

Payton shrugged his shoulders, running his fingers through his hair."I dunno Shane. Everett is sketchy as hell. I mean, I guess I would trust Vivian's words more than that weirdo."

Shane nodded. “Alright. We can give it some time and then maybe talk to her? At least hear her thoughts on whatever that just was before we do anything, if we do anything at all.” He suggested quietly, watching Payton.

Payton thought about that for a second before sighing heavily and rubbing his face."Yeah. Yeah, we can do that." He just wanted to let it go, but if Shane was curious about it, it couldn't be all that crazy of an idea.

Shane smiled gently. “And if she seems looney too then we’ll just let it go and not try and join in on whatever they’re plotting.” He assured quietly, watching Payton.

"Okay, sounds like a plan," Payton replied with a nod, willing to at least listen to what Vivian had to say. He was pretty confident that the girl wasn't crazy, she was sweet as hell after all. But not Everett.

Shane nodded. “Cool. But can we wait till tomorrow? The last thing we need is to go talk to her with Everett back in there or anything.” He asked quietly, not wanting to get up.

"Yeah we can wait, it's super late now anyways, we should be getting to bed soon," Payton replied, not quite sure how much sleep he would be getting with that crap on his mind.

Shane nodded slightly. “You can turn off the light if you’re ready to go to bed.” He offered quietly, curling up under his blankets. He slept way more than he probably should but couldn’t really help it. He felt exhausted all the tome.

Payton nodded, not moving for a moment and he just looked over at Shane. A large part of him wanted to ask the other guy if he could sleep with him in his bed tonight....Wouldn't be the first time he had done it, though there was only a handful of other times that he had. Shane was so tired though, maybe it was best to just leave him alone. So he got up and went, shutting the lights off for them.

Shane noticed the weird look he’d gotten from Payton. “You can come lay here if you want.” He offered faintly. They’d fallen asleep together every now and then, both finding comfort in having someone else right there.

Payton looked at him when he offered, hesitating a moment before he just shook his head."No no, I'm okay. You need some good sleep, not me taking up half the bed." He moved over to his own bed and took a seat, chewing on his bottom lip.

Payton shrugged. “You know I don’t mind.” He assured quietly. He shifted over on the bed. “You’re more than welcome to join me later if you want to.” He assured quietly.

"Okay. Thanks Shane," Payton replied with a nod, sitting up for a bit longer before he did lay down. He didn't close his eyes though, just stared up at the ceiling.

Shane curled up in his bed and dozed off after a bit. He wouldn’t mind if Payton ended up in his bed, leaving room for him. He slept soundly with some weird dreams but that wasn’t unusual.

It was the next day, it was the weekend so they didn't have classes for the day. And the nursing staff was pretty much down to the skeleton crew. Everett was sat on the couch with Jacoby, biting his nails a bit."I think Payton is up in his room, Shane is in the kitchen. I'm gonna go talk to Shane, get him alone. Can you go up and keep Payton occupied?"

[Fallen]

Jacoby nodded. “Yeah I can do that. Do you want me to keep persisting about what you talked to them about?” He offered. He stood up and stretched.

Shane was in the kitchen, taking care of the dishes that had piled up from breakfast.

"Yeah you can give it a try. Hell, maybe he'll listen to you. Try and get Vivian in there with you," Everett replied, listening to Shane moving around in the kitchen. Stella had told him how things had gone with Albany, which was not exactly the best reaction. But at least she hadn't tattled on them.

Jacoby nodded. “It’s worth a shot.” He agreed. He turned to head upstairs to go talk to payton. He stopped at Vivian’s door and knocked gently.

Shane took his time doing the dishes.

Everett nodded, watching as he went up the steps. Once he was gone, he moved into the kitchen, looking at Shane doing the dishes."Hey Shane."

Vivian, who was playing her Nintendo, got up when she heard a knock at the door. She opened it, smiling gently when she saw it was Jacoby."Hey. What's up?"

Shane glanced at him. “Hey. What’s up?” He greeted quietly, tilting his head. He focused back on the dishes, trying to keep himself busy.

He smiled a bit. “Hey. I was gonna go talk to payton about that stuff Everett mentioned. I was wondering if you’d like to join me?” He asked quietly.

"I was hoping that we could continue our conversation...from yesterday," Everett replied, leaning against the counter a bit.

"Yeah sure. Why do you want me to go with you though?" Vivian asked with a tilt of her head.

Shane raised an eyebrow. “There wasn’t really much to say I don’t think.” He commented quietly.

“Cause I feel like he won’t listen to me because I’m close to Everett. But you sorta saw for yourself about what all we can do. I thought it might help him believe us.” Jacoby explained.

Everett sighed a bit, thinking for a moment of how in the world he would get him to listen."Shane please, can you just hear me out a bit more? Let me explain why I know that we're not suppose to be here?"

"Oh okay. Yeah, that makes sense," Vivian said with a nod,"Lets go then. Is he in his room?"

Shane shrugged. “Alright. Then go ahead and start talking.” He mumbled as he kept doing dishes.

Jacoby nodded. He waited for Vivian to get up before heading with her to Payton’s room. He knocked lightly on the door.

Everett sighed a bit more, not liking where they currently were as far as talking. He moved a bit closer to him, crossing his arms over his chest."I think you and I are similar. Similar beings."

Payton opened the door when he heard the knock, looking in between Jacoby and Vivian. Somehow he already knew what this was about and he sighed."What?"

“Hmm. That’s saying something considering you won’t tell anyone what you think you are.” Shane commented.

Jacoby watched him. “We came to talk. That alright?”

Everett frowned a bit."What, have you been talking to Eden or something?" He never denied what he was to Shane, well because the guy didn't really ask him.

Payton sighed heavily, rubbing his forehead."Is this gonna be about more junk that Everett was trying to tell us yesterday? I told him, I don't wanna hear it."

"Pay please, just hear us out, okay? I would never lie to you," Vivian said to him.

Payton looked at Vivian and slumped his shoulders, considering for a moment before he did step aside and motioned for them to come in.

“You keep saying you’re some sort of supernatural creature but won’t say what you are. It’s kinda strange.” Shane commented. “So do you wanna start talking about what you are and stuff?”

Jacoby thanked him and came into the room. He glanced over at Vivian.

Everett sighed, nodding a little bit, but he hesitated. He hadn't told anyone that wasn't already close to him what he was before. But he figured the best way the get Shane to believe him would, probably, be to let him know that he was like him."I'm a type of shapeshifter, and I think that you are too."

Payton walked over to his desk once they got into the room and leaded on the edge, crossing his arms over his chest."Okay. Tell me what you wanna tell me."
