That's why it's hilarious. But it might have been a joke on my brother's part. He likes to tease me.
I haven't. Just 'vacationing' here. Been here for about 3 months now? Might be here even longer too if they close the airports.
Yeah, it is good, but I wish the country as a whole had a faster and more comprehensive response instead of relying on individual states to set policy...

Sounds like a fun holiday. When are you slotted to leave? I mean some people consider hair dresses essential...
Jackie wrote: "Sounds like a fun holiday. When are you slotted to leave? I mean some people consider hair dresses essential..."It is for the most part. Storm Gloria and the virus aside. ^_^
About the 7th of April. So still almost 3 weeks. We are worried we will be trapped here if the country shuts it's borders. :S
I'm not saying they aren't. It's just weird to lump them in with food and medicine is all. lol.
I meant it as a joke...I don’t consider them essential like grocers and pharmacies. I am glad it was good apart from this madness and hope you can get home soon.

It was! And thanks! Enjoying the sunshine! It finally got warm in Feb so I've been enjoying the 20 degrees plus weather instead of the -20 degree weather I'd get in Ontario. ^_^
It is! It's barely rained either since Gloria. ^_^I am but only fun since I might be traveling. Don't want to have to force myself to meet 8 books when I could be really stressed. :)
Im in the US, Nevada specifically. We just shut down schools and libraries today, but getting TP, food or baby essentials is starting to become hard because everyone is panic buying. Also my daughters birthday is tomorrow so I might not be reading then either. Thankfully I have read the 8 book limit already. I am hoping come the next couple days I can get my reading back on point.
Courtney wrote: "I just moved Izzy's 1984 to 2013 so we can get another Bingo."Awesome!
I have updated the SS to reflect the new books and the changes.
I have moved Jamie's and Beatrice's too short books to the banked for now so we can slot in new books. :)
Brittani wrote: "hey guys! I'm gonna be listening to
for 2002 and reading
for 1994 so we can get 2 more..."Woohoo!
Courtney wrote: "Yikes the other team is catching up! I should really start reading again."I still have to post Silverlegs and I'll be finishing Mistress of Rome today so that should help. :)
So Sarah seems to have made a mistake somewhere so we have another line unless I missed something. :)
So I made a mistake in reading the rules guys. We don't get diagonal points. :( Sorry. Only vertical or horizontal.
So I'm not as confident I will finish Mistress of Rome today. There's still abut a 40-50% chance though. I also still have to do my BR comments for Silverlegs. Will try to get that done soon.
Courtney: I hope you are able to find what you need! I know where I live the shelves are practically empty. When we went last Thursday there was no fruit, vegetables, meat, and chicken. Items like bread and pasta we’re also out.
well, I just got a library book that I had on hold for a while so instead of the princess bride I'm reading
(2016)... hopefully there's still time in the month to read The Princess Bride after I finish this.
Finally was able to get my reviews posted. Planned on writing and posting them this past weekend but my internet wasn't cooperating...very glitchy. :(
So guys we are really close to finishing the first board. Unless someone has a book for 1930. I think we should move The Fellowship of the Ring to 1930 and then we just have one CR and two that need to be posted and we are done!
A lot going on lately so I've been busy! My upcoming exam is potentially going to be deferred due to the virus but I won't know for sure until next tuesday, if it does get deferred though I'm about to have a lot of free time :DI'm a bit behind on my reviews but I am on schedule for my reading at least!
So I think I have the SS up to date on everyone's CR and read. There's some hope we could do another grid.
Claire wrote: "A lot going on lately so I've been busy! My upcoming exam is potentially going to be deferred due to the virus but I won't know for sure until next tuesday, if it does get deferred though I'm about..."That's great. ^_^
I am too. I was just going to do my BR comments so that we only had your CR and needing review book for round 1. Well that and a book for 1930.
I dunno, I've put all my books for this month into the grid already, if my exam gets deferred I may manage 1-2 extra books but not more than that since by the time I know, there will only be 1 week left in the month.
Claire wrote: "I dunno, I've put all my books for this month into the grid already, if my exam gets deferred I may manage 1-2 extra books but not more than that since by the time I know, there will only be 1 week..."I personally don't think so but that's just my opinion. We can still do several lines. :)
Wow, I had to go to 67 pages of editions (sorted from most recent to oldest) to find a 2012 edition of The Mysterious Affair at Styles, glad to see that Agatha Christie books are still in VERY high demand!
Claire wrote: "Wow, I had to go to 67 pages of editions (sorted from most recent to oldest) to find a 2012 edition of The Mysterious Affair at Styles, glad to see that Agatha Christie books are still in VERY high..."If you make it so there are 100 editions a page it's a bit faster. :)
Ah, thanks for the tip!Yeah but whatever was in 2012/2013 got moved/deleted so I thought I'd move it to the blank space, we can always move it back if need be.
Out of like 10 million or more books on here there are very few who don't have more than 10 editions!

We have a book for 2012. It was 2013 that wasn't excepted and we have another book for that now too.
I'll update the first page as I don't think it's exactly the same as the 3 round ones. I thought it was but it isn't.
Jackie wrote: "By the way, sorry I keep crashing your chat."NP. You can never have too many people to chat with! ^_^
Claire wrote: "Ooh ok, I'll change it back to 93-94, I only just posted so it hasn't been counted yet I think"Awesome.

That's great!
That's probably both good and bad. Introverts and probably loving the staying at home while the poor Extroverts will have to rely on phones and the internet to party and socialize. :)
