1. I live in an apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark. My husband and I sometimes talk about moving to the countryside. How I feel about this depends on the day.2. I work at a large public library as a children´s librarian.

5. I´m a lazy person when it comes to housework. I´d rather read, play a board game or anything else really. A clean house is not really important to me, either. As long as you can get around and it´s not a health hazard I´m fine :)

4. Unlike most book lovers, I like seeing the movie before reading the book because if I read the book first, I'm always disappointed by the movie.
5. In college I spent one summer travelling around the country in a charter bus, sleeping on gym floors, and performing in front of thousands of people most nights as a colorguard member of a Drum & Bugle Corps.

2. I have belonged to Toastmasters for about 25 years, where I learned to give talks. I actually get paid to speak several times a year, often on literature or on women's history.
3. I have an adult son in Minneapolis and daughter in St. Louis. My husband and I live between them in Madison, WI.
4. I speak and read French and I was able to use it in a couple of my jobs either teaching or working with customers in Quebec over the phone.
5. I am "athletically challenged" and could never do well in anything with hand/eye coordination but I love Zumba and Jazzercise, where you get to pretend you're dancing while working out.

1. I've always worked in education either teaching (8th and 9th grad Algebra) or managing international education projects which I do now. 2. I volunteer in the local humane shelter as well but as a cat socializer. My building doesn't allow animals.
3. I've never lived in a city more than 4 years in a row in the past 24 years.... lots of moving and usually to a different continent.
4. I'm an INFP and really find that it explains much in my life (or is an easy excuse :)).
5. I have 2 nieces and a nephew who I try to see as much as possible despite being on the opposite side of the US.

4. Until I can get back to work, I am also part of the SAHM club. It's kind of lonely when you have school age kids, but I'm getting lots of reading done :-)
5. I am a survivor of domestic violence. Last year I was out on disability for complications from an autoimmune disorder. Now I'm still out because my girls father herniated 4 disks in my neck and I have PTSD. When I recover fully, I am going to start doing some kind of advocacy work because, honestly, this is bullshit!!

1. I love animals I have two cats but if it was easy to own a polar bear, penguin, otter, capybara and a goat I would have them too. 2. I really enjoy wine and wine tasting. Every time I go on a trip I look to see if there is a place where I can do a tasting or two.

5. I have always loved to read and started listening to audiobooks (they were really books on cassette tapes) back in the late 1980s. I am so grateful to have access to so many audiobook options for free through my library (Hoopla, Overdrive, RBDigital) but I also have an Audible membership.

1. This is my first year doing reading challenges and so far I've read more books in 2 months than in the whole last year. 2. I'll be starting work this Monday and am very excited!
3. I've started doing yoga, from October to January I was practicing at home and this month I also started attending classes regularly.
4. I studied in Germany and like to read books in German, especially when they were originally written in German. This goes for movies and series too.
5. When I'm not reading, I'm binge watching some crime investigation/medical drama series - the last one was the whole "Chicago-" franchise.

3. I am super late to the party on a lot of popular TV shows. In the past couple of years, I watched Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl, and Glee for the first time, and I'm currently watching Fresh Prince for the first time. I've seen episodes of it here and there, but never cared to watch the whole thing
4. I used to want to be a vet because I loved animals, but decided against it because I didn't want to give animals needles
5. My best friend and I used to talk about growing up to be an author-illustrator team (even though neither of us could draw) and wrote stories together
1. I’m the only science teacher at my small international school, so I teach general science, chemistry, biology and physics. It’s busy!2. My husband is Chinese and we have 2 sons, 4.5 and 1.5.
3. Yesterday was the first time I left my apartment in almost a month because things are shut down here due to the coronovirus (I’m not near Wuhan, but my province has had 168 cases and has implemented tough restrictions to contain it, which is working thankfully).
4. I write music, sing and play ukulele and guitar and I just did my first open mic in December. It was awesome!

I also am an audiobook addict who started listening via cassettes in the '80's. The selection and quality now are amazing - plus the fact that multiple books can be on your phone or iPod instead of carrying around cassettes or CDs.

I'm not entirely sure how an iron works myself, but I believe it's a kind of retro piece of furniture...
But in actual fact, I do technically know how to iron, I just don't do it. I think my ironing average is at approximately one item a year...

I think I might give this a shot! I've just been using clothes that don't need ironing, but then I'll be in trouble when I need something formal to wear.
