- Main character is a female detective, has a male partner.
- Edgar Allan Poe is mentioned.
- One body is found near a river.
- One body is possibly found in a barrel?
- Bodies are dressed up/positioned to resemble some obscure fairy tales.
- It was snowing heavily at some point.
- Bodies or crime scenes had some sort of marking, a flower or a bird?
- Takes place in an American city, feels like 80's-90's.
Two remaining spoiler-heavy hints:
- The male partner gets murdered.
- The climax at the end takes place at an abandoned theme park of some sorts.
