Lumberjanes fit like 6 others for author name - the options are in the spreadsheet so just move it when you're done

But I did read another 225 pages if that counts for some..."I wondered how you were going, Erica, when I saw this morning that the US had had their first coronavirus death, and then again later today when I saw that our first Aussie had died of it, and then I realised we hadn't heard from you for a while...! Glad to hear it's only work that's been keeping you offline! And that things seem like they might be calming down in your province!
I just finished The Golden Day by Ursula Dubosarsky and I'd thought it would fit a few categories, but it was only unicorn blood, so Bec, I hope you don't mind, but I moved yours to ancient gods, since it also worked for that. We've still got our 6 wild cards, and 7 categories to go, so we only need one more book finished for one category, then we can wild card the rest! Or see how many we can finish with books and still wild card the rest.
My day (and therefore read-a-thon) is over in less than 2 hours, but for all intents and purposes, I'm done! I can hardly keep my eyes open! So goodnight all - happy reading for the last day of the read-a-thon!!
Goodnight! And we shall try to read as much as we can, see if we can keep some Wild Cards leftover 😜@Johanne Right?? The third book is called Sea-ing Is Believing! and suddenly I have two options for Popsugar haha!
I’ve just finished Victoria and added it for pots of gold, as it was the only book that fitted that prompt.I’m about to head out to do a few errands, and I’m going out to dinner with friends tonight, so I’ll see if I can read something short in the 3-4 hours I’ll be at home this evening.
We’re nearly there!
I just finished With the fire on high by Elizabeth Acevedo and added it for "sea creatures".I'm going out, so I'll finish the other book I'm reading later tonight
... but...but... that means we're finished if we use the wildcards?! Yayyyy!
Let's read on and see how close we can get without wildcards!
Look at us goooo!I just finished You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yeti! and after feeding my bunnies I’ll be reading Sea-ing Is Believing! as well 😊
Hi! I finished Educated this morning. It was really good, so if you’re looking for a terrific memoir and haven’t gotten to this yet, I really recommend it.
Started a new (short) audible, ‘Interview with the robot’ by Lee Bacon, so if that can fit any open prompts for initials LB. I think I will finish it today on my train from Dublin to Belfast. But, I have a slooow internet connection now so not able to check and/or update the spreadsheet now to see if it fits any prompts.
There was only one prompt that worked for LB (unicorn blood) and the book slotted for that worked for that prompt only as well, sorry 😢 Any chance your book will mentioned any (remaining) prompts? 😅
You guys have been busy since I last looked at the spreadsheet!
I've finished The October Man, and entered it for werewolf.
I might as well go ahead and read The Shadow Over Innsmouth, as it works for both the outstanding prompts for Author Name - HP Lovecraft. But if you guys beat me to it, no worries.

Nicenice! That leaves us only one left after I finish my book; surely we can get through this what-seemed-impossible magical level without Wild Cards??
No worries! I don’t know of it fit any others, but it’s to tiresome to check, so I’m not gonna bother 🤣 Happy reading!
Well done, everyone! You've finished so many books in the few hours that I was out!I've got about 3 hours left of my audiobook, and I'm listening to it at 1.75%, so I'm determined to get that finished today. Unfortunately of the two prompts left, it only fits for Half Horse Half Man for author issues, so I'll see if that one is still open when I finish it. Even if it isn't, I'll still add my pages to my total for this read-a-thon.

How are you doing with it? Only asking, as if you're nearly there (given your message was three hours ago!), I won't rush to finish Innsmouth.

I’ve just finished it and added it to the spreadsheet. Looks like we have completed all of the prompts, and we didn’t need to use any wildcards for this level 😊
Yessss! Well done everyone! I'm not quite done reading today, but when I am I'll add pages to the spreadsheet.
But it also leaves a gaping hole like what am I supposed to do now?? Just read books? Who does that 😂

The readathon had an unexpected outcome: my 11-year old son picked up Lumberjanes (I had the first 3 collected volumes lying around, since I was reading them today for rat) and he read all three of them, and really liked them! I have a hard time getting him to finish reading anything except Donald Duck and other easy to read comics (he will pick stuff up and then lose interest). He wants to read the rest of the series!

Yes it really is! The stories are not that easy to grasp, and English is not our first language, so I was really surprised he liked them (and read all three and asked for more).
Great job on completing the magical level, Frosted Flakes!!! I guess that means that we've earnt the "bought the zoo" badge! Not that I use the badges, but the achievement is enough!I see that between us we've read over 15000 pages, including over 100 hours of audio! And look at Deena, Carmen and Hannah go! They each contributed over 2000 pages over the read-a-thon time!
But well done to all of us - every page and every minute of audio all add up!!
Thanks to everyone for another fun read-a-thon!
It’s even more pages than that on reality, as our first hours of audio didn’t count for those! We totally rocked this 🙌
