Ashlee Jessen | 4 comments This man was abused as a child because he couldn't learn his ABCs and had this poster with an object for each letter ( Lamp for L, etc.) and now he leaves those objects (in order) next to his murder victims. A young girl escapes him after he kills her mother (Rita? Regina?) and brother. She treks through the snow (Colorado?) and finds a cabin with an older man that cares for her but his mobility isn't good (or he gets injured?) and they're basically stranded there. Oh! Maybe his name (or pseudonym) is Xavier....?Read *probably* around 2015? Several years ago most likely

Ashlee, at what point in the book do we learn the serial killer is dyslexic and leaving objects based on the alphabet poster?

What do the murder victims have in common?

Ashlee Jessen | 4 comments If I had to guess, I'd say you learn that maybe 50-70% of the way through. I don't believe the victims share anything in common, except maybe being predominantly women.

I edited the topic header/title to remove what sound like spoilers, and added more plot details. (Spoilers are fine in the comments - just give us a clear warning before revealing a spoiler.)

Ashlee Jessen | 4 comments Wow! Good work, Kris, and thanks. This has been bugging me forever. It seemed unreal that I remembered so much but couldn't find it. Sweet relief!

Ashlee Jessen | 4 comments I can't figure out how to switch this to"solved" on my mobile. I'll try again when I'm at my computer.
