Chime and Iron Council will be revisited in June. There is still interest in Ian M. Banks as well.

I added a link to Positron Chicago under "Resources" on the Links page of the TG blog.

Gremlin | 50 comments Oof! Only one copy of Forty Thousand in Gehenna at the CPL (and it's out) and no eBooks, that I can see. Start looking for used copies, folks! I think this one is out of print.

message 4: by John (new)

John Lodder (jlodder) | 216 comments Looks like CPL still has one copy of the reprint, Alliance Space...

Gremlin | 50 comments Not anymore they don't. Because I snagged it! BWAAAHAAAHAAA!

(Of course, we'll have to wait and see if it arrives to my branch in time. I'll keep hitting the used bookstores, too, though!).

Jake Casella Brookins (casella) | 25 comments 40k in Gehenna shows up used pretty frequently, I know Myopic has a copy and I think I've seen it around elsewhere in Chicago pretty recently--Bookleggers and Gallery Books, I think.

message 7: by John (new)

John Lodder (jlodder) | 216 comments I requested a copy through ILL. Whee!

message 8: by Gremlin (new)

Gremlin | 50 comments What is ILL? My copy is in at the library, so I should be all set - picking it up tonight!

No copies at Open Books, FYI.

message 9: by John (new)

John Lodder (jlodder) | 216 comments Interlibrary loan. My copy appears to be coming from Michigan.

message 10: by Jake (new)

Jake Casella Brookins (casella) | 25 comments ILL is possibly the pinnacle of modern culture, perhaps even human evolution itself.

message 11: by Gremlin (new)

Gremlin | 50 comments I feel as though I've let Mori Phelps down for not knowing what that meant.
