Anna (annabergb) I've set the goal to 40 books this year! I have not decided which ones to read yet and I'm very open to suggestions! I'd love to find a good fiction series to read, but I'm pretty much open to any genre. Some of these will be in Norwegian as it is my first language.

1. The Moon Sister FINISHED 26/01
2. Gutten og fjellet FINISHED 05/02
3. Jeg var Rinnans fange FINISHED 15/02
4. Det norske jødehatet. Propaganda og presse under okkupasjonen FINISHED 23/02

Praveen (பிரவீண்) KR (pkrvisakh) If you like mysteries and crime thrillers, you can go for Lars Kepler or Keigo Higashino books.
Lars Kepler is Swedish and Keigo is Japanese. So you can get to read a crime thriller set in totally different landscapes and culture.

Praveen (பிரவீண்) KR (pkrvisakh) Poonachi Or The Story of a Black Goat written by Perumal Murugan. This is yet another book. It is a book written in Tamil language which is my mother tongue. You can get an English version by the same name. It was one of my favorite reads in 2019. A different genre.

Praveen (பிரவீண்) KR (pkrvisakh) If you don't mind, can you please suggest me some Norwegian crime thrillers (which do have a English translation).

Thank you!! That is great idea and I'll definitely consider it. When it comes to Norwegian crime thrillers you can look up the author Jo Nesbø, he's probably one of the greatest crime authors in Norway at the moment and has a serie that is quite good! Last year I read his book The Thirst which is set in Oslo, Norway. It is part of a larger series though, but it's not like you have to have read all the previous books to understand the concept.
