      That's great but I still don't know why we have to have a Table of Contents for a romance novel.

Could you promote your professional services somewhere else please ...
      You need a Table of Contents on any ebook because it gives readers a way to flip to any chapter w/out going page-by-page. It's a nice shortcut to provide for them.

But then one of my readers commented that he (yes, he) would have enjoyed reading my ebook more if there'd been a table of contents. As Bobbi said, it makes flipping to any chapter easier.
