Policy on Additional Photos section

What images are allowed in the additional photos section?
For example, this book has some book spines, back cover, interesting title pages, and inside illustrations. I deleted a couple of front cover images.

I've always wondered that too.
Maybe "action" photos...people reading the book...

I'd love to know as well. I wanted to add the back cover of a really cool retro cookbook I have, but was told by another librarian that this wasn't allowed.

I would like to use for proof of long forgotten awards that appear on a book page or inside book jacket flap
