Viviana | 35 comments "This is a memorable addition to the searing account of Holocaust survivors."-The Horn Book.I Have Lived A Thousand Years is a story novel based on the lifetime journey of Ellie as she struggles to survive the Holocaust time period with only her mothers companionship. I think that this book was a very good book that not really anyone can relate to but imagine.I would recommend this novel to people ages of twelve and older. Some awards given to the author of this novel is the Christopher award. I would compare this book to other books of the same situation as the main character."Freedom. At last, why don't I feel it"?
