Six of Crows
question
Comparison with the Grisha trilogy.
you can defintly enjoy SoC without having read shadow and Bone. I read SoC first and it is now my favourite Book ever! I read S and B afterwards and I thought its okay. SoC is sooo much better! And if you have read SoC and enjoyed it then I would give S and B another try!

I read the grisha trilogy after i had read the six of crows duology. Soc is so so much better than shadow & bone i highly reccomend!! Even though both books are set in the grishaverse, six of crows is wayyy different. You'll love it
Personally I Love the shadow and bone series. I think it's all down town to personal preference, but I don't see where all the hate for it comes from. I think Leigh Bardugo is such a talented author, and am excited for her next ya books to come!
So yeah, to sum it all up: Read shadow and bone, I hunk you'll love it a second time around. Give it a chance!
i feel like s.o.c is something almost anyone can get into. i only started really reading within the last 2 years, but six of crows really pushed me into being a reader along with rangers apprentice. and also kaz would be my best friend other than nina and inej. and jesper.
I didnt like the grish atrilogy but i LOVED soc so and i read it before the grisha tilogy so you should give it a try its so diffrent from shadow and bone
I've only read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, and they're FABULOUS. I recently read the first three chapters of Shadow and Bone, and really want to read the rest! (But the e-reader doesn't have it...)
