I loved this book so it's awful that I have so little information to offer up. I remember it was a black cover with blue, white, and pink lines extending from the title. I feel like the title may have had an exclamation mark and the author was a jr. The book was first person, the narrator began or at least wrote from the womb in some part of it. There was something about baseball and something about getting captured by foreign bad guys and possibly getting his fingers cut off. It was a strange book overall but man I want to find it again! Help!
