Let's post here, every month, one review that we consider the most elaborate one we've worked on, with the purpose to inspire others.
March Review
Book: Milkman, by Anna Burns
I was impressed by this book as it describes the growing up of a young woman in a rigid, militarized society, in Ireland, ~1980.
The detailed review is here.

April Review
Book: The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Shafak
Wow! The plot ending was totally unexpected. A very realistic and actual representation of Istanbul contemporary life and an interesting theme of how times and lifelines intertwine.

Book:
by J.P. Pomare
A haunting story about the lies people tell each other and how trust is often misused. Beautiful lies hide in the shadows of good intentions. In unexpected turns of events the book evokes the fragility of human honesty and how people use lies in order to control others.

June Review
Book:
by Dean Koontz
The exact kind of book you could immediately see materialized into a movie. Action packed, exotic setting, interesting characters and the eternal good vs evil plot.
Complicated by secret government research facilities and secret police in a place that is already crazy (Las Vegas) it is a pleasant read for anyone looking for a little action drama.
