Collette | 6190 comments They're cute ha ha. FYI I have 2 little Charlie Bears kitties. A white one called Snowdrop and a black one called Stella.

Got the bed half changed, then when that's finished and the bedroom hoovered, I'll crack on with the spare room. All those bears to comb...

I didn't have to chase Bertie about the place, Suzy. After his long journey, he was happy to get brushed.

(Note to self...get a life FFS!)

Collette, when my youngest grandchild was born 14 months ago, we bought her a Charlie Bears bear called Butty.

They're not exactly cheap, are they???

Not long after, I bought a small bear for myself because he looked so sad in a shop window. He's by Merrythought and is called Windsor, but I've renamed him Harald.

I thought I'd rescued him from a lonely life but the following week, his identical twin had replaced him in the shop window.

Too much time spent 'combing' alone.

Repetitive strain injury.

Laying down is the last thing she needs, more like daily sessions on her exercise bike.

Lez | 7490 comments I wasn't interested in soft toys but my sis had a cloth creature, called PussBun, as it was of indeterminate heritage. She left it on a bus once and my poor mum had to try to describe it at lost property.
She also had a sort of bear called Mincynut as its head was made of astrakhan which does resemble said meat product.

Hi Val. Those bears are lovely. Yep, cheap they ain't. These are my last 3 Charlie Bars. D gave me them for Easter. Gumdrop, Peardrop and Dewdrop.

. £128 or something they cost him, and that was with money off. They're totally gorgeous though.

My new bear Bertie was a bargain. Extra special cos the shop owner made him herself. He's super furry and 17 and a half inches in size, and including the gold ribbon I bought for him, cost just under £20. I'v put his pic on my profile (last one).

suzysunshine7 | 16062 comments I'm not really into Stuffed Toy collections but I do have 5 that were bought for me and, because they have huge sentimental value to me, I can't bear to part with them.

I also have my Bear with Rabbit Ears that was bought for me on the day that I was born by my beloved Grandad - who sadly died a couple of days before my 8th Birthday. He is pale yellow and white, has lovely orange coloured Eyes, and is called Albert - and I'd just be completely devastated if I ever lost him.

Editing a capital I in your own would be a great start (and would prove whether you were BSing about being able to edit - that button's just not there for me).

Stuffed toys?

We've got a houseful of them - bears (mainly Tatty Teddies but one Charlie Bear), dogs, a Polar Bear, three Pandas, a couple of Unicorns (one of which is Phoebe's current bed), a Leopard, a Whale and a Speedy Gonzales.
They seem to be in every corner of every room, occupy all available shelf space and cover half of the bed. I get told off for just chucking them on the floor so have to arrange them nicely on top of the cushions from the bed which I have to stack up in the corner of the bedroom. This is also another favourite spot for Phoebe who pushes the middle of the three teddies out of her way so she can curl up in its' place :)

Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot about the half dozen or so bloody Meerkats!

(Also unable to edit posts so any typos are there to stay!)

"I don't want hoist my own petard unnecessarily, Brass." - One is hoisted BY one's own petard (basically a bomb goes off in your hands). The way you wrote it sounds vaguely phallic.

Brass Neck | 3979 comments Also added photo of Emily, the Romanian rescue pup I should be adopting into the Brass menagerie shortly. The photo's not great - she looks a bit skewiff in it but she's a petite 5 months old mixed breed with some Chihuahua in her and she loves attention. Not sure she'll require heavy duty walking but she's young and small enough for the cats to adapt to ....... I hope.

The one with the googlie eyes? I was looking at band ones online a few days back. F*** paying £8 to £12 for one though. I'll just stick to my SA Fishing face shields and my plain black and pink masks.

Emily's cute as a button. How many kitties have you got?

The pussy posse numbers three - they can be seen together in at least one of the photos.
I did indeed go for the eyes. Paid her a fiver but she donates it all to a local cat rescue or a wildlife sanctuary in Whitby where she has a caravan. Her masks have an inner piece in which you can insert some folded kitchen towel - stops the drooling for a bit but not the twitching nor Tourette's outbursts.

"Today I'm being a lazyarse" - crikey, there's novel.

Collette | 6190 comments Cute wee baba kitties as well. Good on her. Do the drooling, twitching and swearing happen often then? You're some catch, Mr B, ha ha. ☺️

Actually, I got my butt going and did some of the kitchen, then had to fish my poor dead red tailed black shark out of the tank. NOW I'm being a lazyarse.
