Looks like Ikea do (or soon will) click and collect from their Peterborough DC, Suzy.
Want me to grab a wardrobe and pop it in the post? :)
Want me to grab a wardrobe and pop it in the post? :)

The Ikea Website has for over 3 weeks now said (up until yesterday) that the Wardrobe was in Stock and was available online yet suddenly now it isn't - but it may very well be that it actually has not have been available to Order or been in Stock for sometime?
Ikea's Facebook Page is full of complaints - which I personally feel is only really to be expected in such incredibly challenging and as extraordinary times as these - but they are nevertheless rather off-putting and seem to be suggesting too that Ikea is having an extremely difficult time with meeting Orders, carrying out Deliveries, and also with Website glitches that are causing multiple Payments to be taken without Orders going through.
I think this might possibly be why Ikea has chosen to disable several parts of their Website and their Checkout too? - and while I'm prepared to take a calculated risk on keeping on trying I absolutely wouldn't dream of ever asking anyone else to on my behalf in case it all goes pear-shaped on them.
If I can't get it? - then I can't get it - and I'll just have to get my Head and Heart around settling for something else instead.
I would tell you all which Wardrobe it is? ... but if anyone on here decides they want one, manages to get it before I do, and then actually dares to tell me about it?!! - then I'm afraid that you will immediately become someone that I simply won't ever be able to bring myself to speak to again!!! ... LOL!!! ;o>

Many years back I bought a vintage 35mm camera on eBay from a guy in the US. Described as mint condition, upon arrival the shutter looked like someone had stuck their finger through it. His response, when I emailed about it was that we obviously had different interpretations of mint condition. I could have returned it, but at my own expense, which wasn't worth the effort. Thankfully it hadn't been too expensive. Still rankles though.

I have to give the Seller credit though for the speed with which he issued me with a full Refund and also for his response too - which was to claim that his extensive and usually excellent team of Quality Control Staff must have somehow failed to spot all of this on ever-so-carefully wrapping it up before posting it on to me.
It is probably just me being fanciful - but I think that he was probably more likely to be a bit of a spotty herbert of a Lad who was selling on cheap Charity Shop and Garage Sale buys - and his 'Quality Control' Staff was very likely to be his baby Brother - who did all of the wrapping up and posting on for him in return for scraps of Pocket Money! - LOL!!! ;o>

A veritable trio of manly quality.

Lovely stuff from a friend who shoots and hunts, brought a good lot of it over last night.
So dinner tonight venison fried up with onions and mushrooms, with a side of runner beans.
Delicious.

In my meat-eating days we used to have lambs' hearts with sage and onion stuffing done in the pressure cooker. Yummy! I suppose venison might be too strong-tasting though.

I'm guessing a lot of people would find venison too gamey.
I have friends who love it and others that wouldn't touch it!
I hate waste, and believe you should use all the animal.
But I'm the only one in our house who'll be eating the heart or kidney.

I had this rather/very weird Lenny Murdoch dream last night. Slightly preferable to dreaming about than you 3 oddballs, ha ha.

Ha ha ha. 😝

Maybe tonight we'll haunt your fertile little mind, C.

Just putting my special sleeping mankini on if that helps C.

Phew!

I had oddball free dreams last night, thank god. That bottle of wine helped.

In the dawn of middle age any excitement is to be welcomed.

Possibly elder abuse.
Cruel, but really quite funny. ;0 ;0

And I still really like them now - but I do have one issue with them - and that is that they could be just a little more generously cut as they are lacking somewhat in just having an extra couple of centimetres at the bottom that would just ensure a much more secure and snugger fit by them extending a little further underneath the Chin.
Now Reusable Face Masks are far more readily available almost everywhere and many of them are also 3 ply now as is recommended - plus there are also a few more now that have got that special layer to them that offers some extra form of protection.
I buy a lot of our Groceries Online from Iceland and they suddenly started with selling Face Masks a few months ago and, as they were so cheap, just three for a fiver, I thought that I'd buy some out of curiosity as much as anything ... and they have surprised and delighted me by turning out to be absolutely brilliant! ;o>
I've been buying them with every Iceland Shop ever since as there is a limit on buying them (only 4 at a time) and so I've continued with buying them on their three for a fiver offer.
The looser fit and extra fabric that they have to them allows for more ease of talking (and laughing too ;o>) without also feeling the frequent need to adjust them afterwards like I sometimes need to do with the other Masks that I had previously bought - and I really like the quality of fabric layers of these Masks as well.
Anyway, I just thought I'd flag them up on here in case anyone else out there is also interested in trying them out ;o> ...

On a bus, no-one can hear you scream.....

Mr B, are you calling me middle aged/old or hazey brained through drink? Either way, how totally rude! 😠
As for you, Tim, my booted foot kicking your butt very hard would be cruel for you, but I'd find it very very amusing. 😠
Pair of A***holes! 😡
I've ordered a few things off of Etsy (forgot how good that site was) so I'm hoping at least one of them might come today. Really looking forward to my new handmade red and black bear Bertie arriving. He's gorgeous.

My Bear kicks your Bears namby pamby ass, and afterwards sleeps like a baby.

Your bear looks like he's escaped from a New York Leather Bar for tots. 🤪

That Bear does a legendary set on a Friday night at the Blue Oyster Bar.

Well, my bear's bigger than yours. He might look all innocent but those claws are sharp. Bring it on! D*ck! 🙄🙄🙄

No innocent child should have to see that monstrosity, ha ha. 😆

Phone Lines were almost immediately shut-down and quite a few Companies and Shops also removed their usual Email Address Contact options as well. This has meant Customers have had no other choice but to resort to querying and complaining through Facebook where sadly most of their Posts have often also gone unanswered as well or received a generic response that has invariably only added fuel to the fire of their discontent.
Several Supermarkets in particular have got themselves into an awful lot of bother with their Customers over this - and Ikea seems to have done the same thing, way back in March, and still hasn't restored their Customer Services back into being what they once were ... which is one of the reasons why I am wondering if the Company might sadly be yet another one that is barely struggling to survive the Pandemic and the National and Local Lock-downs.
The thing is that I really do feel for Businesses right now and can fully appreciate and understand why things are so incredibly challenging for them - so I'm thinking that if me buying this Wardrobe simply isn't meant to be then that's just about all that there is to it.
I could try what you are suggesting and it isn't like I'll be playing up on my current situation either ... but it's only a Wardrobe, isn't it? ... and sadly there are people in very similar circumstances to me who are completely reliant on getting charitable Free Meals Services and using the Food Banks around here. They have pretty much been the only reliable source of help with deliveries for the Housebound - and, if it wasn't for the Internet, and me being able to know how to use it, we would also have had no other choice but to be doing the same thing as well.
As M&D&me won't ever be going hungry or at risk of dying at any time soon through the mere lack of a Wardrobe for the Spare Room then it really doesn't feel right to me to even try asking for any kind of special treatment?
It is a such a pain though because I'm trying to focus on getting the Spare Room set up so that my Mum can move into it when she wants, needs, to get away from having to share a Room with my Dad. They really aren't getting on at all well - and I'm very aware too that should one of us get sick then we will need to isolate ourselves from each other - and the Spare Room has nothing else but a new Carpet and just a Bed in it at the moment. We are very short on Furniture and on any much-needed storage space in this House so I was really looking forward to getting the Room furnished and finished.
I'm not going to be giving up on keeping on trying though - LOL!!! - so don't forget to keep watching this space for yet more of my mindblowingly fascinating Wardrobe updates!!! ... HA HA HA HA HA!!! ;o>
