Esther Rabbit | 31 comments I put together a video on HOW TO FIND, SELECT & WORK WITH BETA READERS for authors looking into this. I'll be including some very useful Goodreads and Facebook groups where I found amazing betas for my novel, a list of questions an author should ask BETAS & more tips based on my own experience. If you find it useful, it would do me a world of good if you subscribed to my channel and shared my content. Also, look for the full article on Working With Beta Readers in the video description. Much love 🥰

Ian Miller | 23 comments Good post, Esther. How long to give them is an interesting problem. I have one that is taking a longer time than you suggested, but it is the holiday season here, so I think I have to be more patient.

Thanks, Ian. I mean 1 month is more than enough to finish a book and provide feedback in my opinion. I wouldn't like working with a beta who reads multiple manuscripts at the same time but rather one that takes their time with each. I've been a beta reader for a LOOOONG time, so I've heard many stories over the years :)
