Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2316 comments There is a small problem with this listing as the publisher reused the ISBN - & there is a substantial difference between the page counts on the two editions. There has been a lot of changing the page count.

I own a copy myself. I'm happy to do a separate listing for the Harper edition with the 317 page count. I think the ISBN should go with mine, as mine is the newest edition.

Would this be the correct way to handle it?

Sandra | 31458 comments That's the way of the new ACE, newest book gets the isbn.

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2316 comments Thanks Sandra. I'll wait another day to make sure staff doesn't have a different opinion, then I will do that. :)

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2316 comments Ok there has been no objections so I have created a different edition

Alison | 961 comments Because so many people have been changing the page count, I would add a note on the new edition not to change the 317, and add a link to the edition with 250. It will be hard for people to find the edition with 250 otherwise. You could even link to the 250 one in the description if you wanted, a la the example given in the manual, so non-librarians can find it. I would also add the actual ISBN to the librarian note on the old edition so there's no doubt about which two editions are linked in this battle.

I have put notes in the changelog, but I will try to put links up later.

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2316 comments Hyperlinks added to both editions.
