Tell that to Mary Sue, yeah?

If I was a superhero, I would have twenty different powers. All of these powers will be all of my favorite powers put into a single character. However, I would still be susceptible to all of the individual weaknesses of those powers and I cannot use more than one power at a time. In terms of theme, I would focus on something similar to the Greek and Germanic heroes such as Achilles or Sigurd.
If I were to face a supervillain, this individual would have just as many powers as me. Each of his powers will symbolize death, destruction, and monsters. In terms of theme, this supervillain will embody all the evils I despise most such as political megalomania and all-consuming avarice.

The “10,000 hours” thing is nonsense, but your overall point is true. Characters like Savage and Batman are silly because they push everything to extremes.
