Changing a Book's Order

Currently this Kindle Single is listed as 7.5 in series but should be 8.5. It is quite clear thar while oubished earlier than Book 8 the age of a supporting character of sixteen means that it is set later than Book 8 in which Simon's nephew is fifteen. Also, events in this story which are far ranging are not mentioned in Book 8, I am not sure how to change myself
