ABANDONED. Help me find the name of children’s book

I have been racking my brain and I cannot remember the title or author of an old children’s book. I originally thought it was written by Shel Silverstein, but I cannot locate it in any of his books. The book is in black-and-white with very minor illustrations, much like Silverstein’s art, and the characters are two little boys in a backyard or playground. They are bored, one boy says “ha” then “ha ha” and the rest of the story is pretty much them laughing back and forth and the words “ha ha ha” for what seems like pages, and both boys saying they can’t stop laughing. I haven’t seen this book since I was about 7, so it had already published over 40 years ago around 1979-1980. Please help I would love for my son to experience this book.
