YA series about teens with powers and the main female character can make people do what she wants with her mind

Help! I Can’t remember the year probably around 2010 ish was when I read it. I know it’s a series I think the main girl might have had two brothers (one was maybe older and named Daniel) she went to a place because the thought she was crazy and it had other teens with powers. I remember she had a male best friend there think he could make people agreeable. I remember them escaping this place together 3 of them and trying to find answers. I could be mixing up more than one book lol but help me
