This spoilers the end but as mentioned in the original post, he was the one who merdered his wife.
Basically, her ghost "played" with him the same game.
- The man was friendly -> The women fell in love with him and married him -> He becomes more and more violent until he kills her.
- Her ghost starts "friendly" -> He gets used to the "presence" -> The ghost gets more and more violent and kills him.
Unfortunalty I can´t remember details like the man job or location.
Thank you.
It´s a horror Horror story about a lonely man finds out a friendly entity (Ghost) that started leaving with him after the death of his wife. It´s written in a diary form if i remember correctly.
[Spoilers]
The ghost started friendly and then started manifesting itself more and more and even gets violent. In the end, the ghost killed the men in his sleep as a reveng. It turns out that the ghost is of the wife that the men murdered in the first place but no one knew.
His friend finds out the diaries after his death and finish them.
[/Spoilers]
I read the book about 18 years ago as I was 14/15 years old. I don´t remember it being long. And even at that time, the book condition was bad (public library), so I assume the book was even older.
Thank you very much!
