Brian Foster (bwfoster78) | 191 comments EG,

I didn't end up buying the books because I didn't feel that they were a good fit for my tastes, but, wow, other authors could really learn a lot from your presentation!

The formatting makes the post easy to read and understand. You link to the appropriate websites so that I don't have to search for you on Amazon. And the blurbs do a good job of succinctly giving me a good sense of the story.

Everything about the post made me feel that I was dealing with a true professional.

Well done.

(Regarding my tastes: I have a strong preference against present tense. A book would have to totally knock my socks off to overcome that particular characteristic for me. Sorry.)

Thanks.

Brian

E.G. Manetti (thornraven) Brian, Thank you for the kind words and thank you for checking out the books. I love the 'preview' feature for e-books, it's so easy to screen purchases. No worries about present tense, I've seen that bias before. Someday I may experiment with writing in past tense, but so far it doesn't work for me.

EG,

There's absolutely nothing you can do that will appeal to every reader. I'm sure there are some people who feel the same way about past tense.

Good luck with your books!

Brian

E.G. Manetti (thornraven) Thanks Brian. Maybe someday Showtime or HBO will wisely pick up my books for a series. You can find out what happens then. ;D
