need help with book/pages please

(im not sure which folder this belongs in so forgive me if it shouldnt be here)

i was looking at the march reads, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, to be exact and on amazon the kindle version has 393 pages but when i looked to see if there was an ebook version on my library app it says it only has 190 pages so now im a bit worried about borrowing it from the library but also dont want to pay £6 for a book i may or may not like since its not my type of thing to read

First are you sure that you are only looking at editions of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot ?

There are a number of summaries and short/study editions ranging from a few dozen pages to over 100.
From what I see , and allowing for hardback paperback andnewer/older editions, a full length copy should run about 370-390 pages

thats the info that is attached to the library book and other then the pages and the release date it appear to be legit, the amazon version is 9780 KB which would natural be 9.7MB and the library version is 9MB so im confused really, maybe its an error on the library side? im not sure but it does appear to be the book

I would suggest you to check if the library version is an abridged version.
