Thanks so much, Okie. :)I'm finishing Vixen in Velvet this week, then will probably read What A Lady Needs For Christmas. I'm in the mood for holiday romance.
I started What a Duke Dares over the weekend. After that I think I may read the new Cynster book By Winter's Light.
I've been on another glom. This time Julie Brannagh's Love and Football series. So far I think my favorite is the second one, Rushing Amy, followed by Catching Cameron and Blitzing Emily. I liked BLITZING EMILY a lot but it has some first book problems. Even so, the worldbuilding is great and not one has been a terrible read. Now I'm on Covering Kendall, which I'm really liking so far.
I'm reading Taming the Highlander, then I might get into Scandal on his Doorstep or Highland Knight by Hannah Howell or some of her other books...I've been feel medieval lately
I just read Isabel Coopers new book. Just wonderful. Funny and with memorable characters. I am not big on paranormals but I will read anything she writes. Not sure what comes next.
I decided to read Theresa Romain's series, so I've begun with SEASON FOR TEMPTATION. Ideally, I'd like to read the four books in order of publication, sigh....I have to take tomorrow to do a promised beta cozy mystery read, but I'll return to holiday reading as soon as I can!
Cheryl wrote: "Just finished If He's Wild, and now I'm starting Seduce Me at Sunrise."Seduce Me is one of Tessa Dare's best novels -- Kev is so unexpected! Just when I thought I'd figured him out, he changed. Kept me in suspense right up to the HEA. You'll love this one.
Just finished Elizabeth Hoyt's Darling Beast, which I really enjoyed. Not sure how many of you are familiar with Patricia Veryan (I know Janga is), but the more I think on it the more I believe Hoyt is the closest successor to Veryan writing today. Both write complicated, interconnected worlds and their child characters are realistic without being treacly. Of course Veryan would likely blush to the roots of her hair at Hoyt's love scenes, but that's what the successive generation is for. ;)
