Nominations are now open for March 2020!

Laura Bradford and Sarah Price are exempt from nomination as we've already selected one of their books this year, although we may make exceptions for novella collections that include one of these authors. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!

Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!

Nominate away!!

#1 - Promise Lodge (Promise Lodge #1) by Charlotte Hubbard - Natalie
#2 - Winter Wheat (At Home in Pennsylvania Amish Country #1) by Karen Anna Vogel - Carolyn
#3 - Liza's Second Chance (Amish Charm Bakery #1) by Molly Jebber - Diane
#4 - Amish Generations: Four Stories by Kathleen Fuller - Barbara
#5 -

There's not quite 25 hours left to nominate your suggestion for what we should read next month!

Who else is going to throw another title into the mix?

Happy reading everyone.

DianeLikesToRead | 178 comments Barbara, this book looks amazing! Is it published yet? Amazon says it coming out June 2. Is there another version?

I'm so sorry about that. You're right it's not released yet. 🙁 Please forgive me.

Our new group read is...

#2 - Winter Wheat (At Home in Pennsylvania Amish Country #1) by Karen Anna Vogel

Thank you Carolyn for the nomination.

Jacqui Harbinson | 1 comments Do you buy your books? I would love to join in but to buy each month is costly?

message 17: by DianeLikesToRead (new)

DianeLikesToRead | 178 comments Sometimes I buy them from Amazon, sometimes from EBay or I go to the library. My library doesn’t always have them so it’s easier to go on eBay for me.

Susann Williams | 32 comments Most of the time I get mine (ebooks) from the library but this one was pretty inexpensive on Amazon.
