Book Riot published a challenge for 2015, and we thought it'd be fun to participate! 2. Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption - A inspiring story of one mans survival against the odds.
3.We Were Liars - A love story with a big twist.
4. The House of the Spirits - a novel about a family spread over several generation, with strong magical realism.
5. Red Rising - read 18/1/15 compelling storyline, I was thoroughly engrossing, have book 2 on order.
6. Cinderread 21/1/15 I loved this story, with the traditional fairytale theme running though it. The character are unique and can't wait to read the next in the series.

8.I have just finished reading The Boys in the Boat. A wonderfully uplifting story of underdogs, so well researched. Well worth reading.
9. The Martian A cracking read, with some great humour, although the scientific bits made me glazing over at time, obviously well researched.
10. Station Eleven An extraordinary , thought provoking post apocalyptic novel, with wonderful story telling. Highly recommend.
11. Paper Towns A young Adult story with good characters and funny dialogue, but the plot was disappointing.
12.The Girl on the Train A modern day who done it. Rachel is such an unreliable witness, the story has so many twists and turns, that kept me guessing to the end.
13.The Invention of WingsAt times I found the book painful reading, the treatment of the slaves is awful.
The author has done lots of research to keep the story accurate, and the addition of the author's notes is great for more information.
14. Before I Go To Sleep A psychological thriller with lots of twists and turns.15. The Rosie Effect An enjoyable chick flick, Don Tillman is so funny.
17. ScarletTraditional fairy tale / Sci-fi/fantasy, brilliant story telling amazing characters. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

20. An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth An amazing autobiography about Col. Chris Hadfield's achievements.
21. Splintered retelling of Alice in Wonderland, I enjoyed the characters and the satisfing ending, for me there was too much romance, have ordered the next in the series from the Library.
22. The Silver Linings Playbook a very funny story about Pat People, the only downside in the American Football which I found tedious.
23. Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail A brutal memoir of survival and grief, an excellent read.
25. The First Fifteen Lives of Harry AugustIt took a while to get into the story, but then I was totally absorbed.
26.A Pretty Mess
A fun story, very enjoyable.
27. Red Queen
WOW one of best novels that I've read this year, great story amazing characters.
