Changing Name

I recently switched over to a pen name and have made the changes on my books. I can't seem to get my name change to stick. Instead of Rachel Kirwin, it will be Rachel Leigh. Could someone help me try and get this changed. Thanks so much :)

All books originally published under Rachel Kirwin must have that as the first listed author.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... and https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/....

Ok, I tried to change the name and my books have disappeared onto someone else’s page. Undercover Barmaid is now on Rachel Leigh’s page as well as Take Me Away. I’m confused on how to do this.

Edits contrary to policy have been reverted.

I don't see any covers on Amazon yet with Rachel Leigh on the covers. When they are there, we can add them as new editions of the works already here. They will have Rachel Kirwin as the first listed author, and Rachel-2space-Leigh as the second author. That will keep them separate from the other Rachel Leigh’s books.

I noticed that Undercover Barmaid cover didn’t change with the new name. It is updated on Amazon now. How would I change that cover on Goodreads?

You can't change the covers. As the author you can set the default edition that comes up by contacting Support.
Link to the edition you would like to be the default in your message and they will set it for you.

I just realized it was not on Goodreads yet. I made a new edition.

Now you can ask Support to make that the default, and for your other books as well if you like.

I originally set up All the News by Hollis Bush under the name Holly Bush, the author’s real name. When I changed it to the pen name, I couldn’t get the page to save Holly’s name on either edition.

It is not in the manual; you have to use a workaround. Add the author name HollyBush and then you can go back and edit it. It won't let you add very similar names like Hollis Bush and Holly Bush at the same time.
