I'm looking for a book I read a while ago

Okay so i read this book when i was still in school, around 2011, or 2012 I think? But basically its about a girl who moves with her family to a massive apartment complex in the city and they move into the penthouse at the very top. The girl's name is Bean, because when she was born she apparently reminded her mother of a kidney bean because of her shape? and so they started calling her bean. So bean really really wants a dog, but her parents tell her they can't have one because they live in the penthouse. Bean also has these puppet friends that she gives little voices to, and she gets a secret library in her room. I can't remember exactly what happens next, but after a while she starts thinking she's going to get kidnapped and she starts preparing for it, and surprise surprise she actually gets kidnapped by this random dude - I also think the kidnapping has something to do with her father's business? - and anyone she gets rescued in the end, and she also gets a dog which is really cool.

Anyway, for all the information i can remember about this book, no matter what variation I put into google nothing at all comes up, and I can't for the life of me remember the title. If anyone could be of any help that would be amazing, as i loved/love this book!
