For this challenge, you will pick a book that you read last month. Using the first sentence in the book, find another book that is associated with that sentence.

You can read as many books as you like from one of last month's books, or
you can read a book for several of last month's books. (Did that make sense? :)

Examples:
Last month I read The Princess Bride. The first line is: "This is my favorite book in all the world, though I have never read it." - re-read one of your favorite books or read a book you have never read

... Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The first line is: "Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much." - read a book that is the 4th in a series or where the main characters are married

... Moon Called. The first line is: "I didn't realize that he was a werewolf at first." - read a book written in the first person or read a paranormal or urban fantasy story

Duration: February 1 - 29, 2019
Re-reads and audio books are okay.
There are no page limits.

Last month, I read Don't Hex with Texas. The first line is, "It had been months since I'd needed rescuing from anything - no dragons, hideous monsters from hell, evil wizards, not even a really bad blind date."

Lots of options :)

I read Beauty and the Clockwork Beast. 2/19/20 **** (Lots of monsters and rescuing :)

From Theater Nights Are Murder by Libby Klein
“I can’t believe you pulled the fire alarm.”

From which I decided to read this dealing with fire and alarms: That Old Flame of Mine by JJ Cook (aka Jim/Joyce Lavene) Read 2/20/20

Getting ambitious here and hoping to read two from this quote from Hems and Homicide by Elizabeth Penney:
Bells jingled as I entered the Belgian Bean, a warm and cozy café filled with chatter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Books I hope to read dealing with freshly brewed coffee:
Dead to the Last Drop by Tonya Kappes (have to wait till it releases Feb. 21) Read 2/22/20
On What Grounds By Cleo Coyle (didn't get to this one)
