I like how you include a lot of background information and tell about all the conflict in the story. It sounds like a good book i might have to read sometime.
I read this graphic novel awhile ago and found it an interesting read. i think you showed a great description of what the book was about.

Bloom is a graphic novel about a guy named Ari who is fresh out of high school and works in his family bakery. He does things from baking to working the register and delivering. Ari still lives with his parents but has dreams to live in a big city with his band. The only problem is, is his dad willing to let him? This novel explores the conflict between Ari and his father. Ari’s father doesn’t want Ari to go, because his older sister just got married and moved out, so of course an extra hand is needed. The bakery ends up not doing so well so that means Ari needs to pick up more hours, which is the last thing he wants to be doing. So, he puts out an ad, “ Help Wanted at Kyroks Family Bakery “. It doesn’t go so well in the beginning but he ends up meeting Hector who went to school for baking, but who just moved to town for a bit because of the loss of his grandmother. Hector ends up working at the bakery and making a very close friendship with Ari, they start spending lots of time together and while doing that Ari finds out who his true friends are. With Ari’s stubborn attitude we just hope just he doesn’t scare hector away.
My opinion on Bloom was that it seemed unique, I’ve never read a book before this that included LGBTQ+ community. I thought it was very sweet and real with real world problems, it gave me the goose bumps it was so adorable and romantic something I wasn’t expecting in going into the book. I loved this book although I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who doesn’t agree with the LQBTQ+ community, because someone might get offended at first. But I hope you don’t put down the book because it really does get wonderful. And its amazing to see people writing about different communities and joining them together. Its cool to see everyone accepting each other as well as helping one another to succeed.
